Coronavirus Update from 4 Secure Self-Storage Ltd.

 

Update 05/01/2021.

 

The government advice is stores can remain open for use by essential services, those businesses that remain open and those individuals permitted to travel under government advice.  This includes key workers, online retailers, construction and trade workers, house moves and many other potential users of self-storage.  The government guidance specifically states that storage and distribution services can remain open and staff can travel to work where it is not possible to work from home.

At 4 Secure Self-Storage Ltd, the health, safety and well-being of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority.

 

4 Secure Self-Storage has generally, low traffic facilities. In the interest of public and colleague safety, we politely ask all customers to wear a face covering or mask whilst on site at any of our facilities. 
We have conducted a risk assessment at each of our facilities as per the latest Government guidance and have taken appropriate measures to ensure our stores are "Covid-Secure" premises.

Whilst our facilities remain open, it is only for essential services and people that are allowed to travel under the government guidance.

Update on our Opening Hours:

Reception opening hours at all our facilities are:
Mon - Fri: 9.30am - 4.00pm
Sat, Sun and Bank holidays: Closed

Access remains 24/7.

Interacting with our customers:

  • We are to avoid shaking hands - and will use other gestures.
  • We will, wherever possible, keep our customers distanced from staff.
  • We have limited access to our receptions to a maximum of 1 customer per store colleague. Customers will be asked to wait outside the reception area until a store colleague indicates that it's safe to enter. 
  • Should you be a new customer with us, and you need to sign a contract or other paperwork in the office, we will arrange for you to sit at the end of a desk away from our staff and pass contracts/paperwork to you.
  • We will be avoiding site tours where possible but if necessary, we will keep a distance of at least 2 metres.
  • Customers are asked to not enter our receptions unless it is absolutely necessary to, please call our reception first and do not enter until instructed.
  • Customers are kindly asked to pay by card or direct debit as our facilities will not be accepting cash or cheque payments. Payments can also be made by phone or via online banking.
  • We encourage customers to complete paperwork via email.

Please be aware of the following:

  • Hand sanitisers are readily available throughout our facilities, in our offices and entry points.  We kindly ask you to sanitise your hands upon entry and exit of the facility.
  • We have established an enhanced cleaning schedule of all trolley handles, and regular touchpoints such as lift buttons, door handles and toilets.
  • We have installed signage and posters in and around stores to help everyone to maintain a 2m distance and to provide reminders to maintain hygiene standards.
